AES Brasil's Emergency Action Plan (PAE)
AES Brasil, in partnership with protection agencies, city halls and municipal civil defenses, is implementing the Emergency Action Plan (PAE) to ensure even greater safety for the population living near our hydroelectric plants. The EAP is a requirement of Federal Law 14.066/2020, which deals with the National Dam Safety Policy (PNSB), and establishes procedures and guidelines to be followed by AES Brasil and the local population, and aims to establish a culture of prevention so that everyone knows how to act in the event of an emergency situation.
